Has anyone gotten married in the poconos?

I am thinking of taking next monday off to look at the properties at Caesar’s in the poconos. They have something called champagne weddings, and said you can get married anywhere on the property. Has anyone does this? Is it nice?
And what property is the best one? From what we have seen, they ALL have good and BAD reviews on tripadvisor, but we will only need to stay 2 nights (night before and night of wedding) if we do our wedding here, then we will be off to hawaii for our honeymoon.

Well, I didn’t get married there, but my (now-ex) husband and I spent our honeymoon at Caesar’s Paradise Stream a few years ago…The place was beautiful, the rooms were fantastic, the food was amazing, and the scenery in the area was great too. Can’t say enough nice things about it. Everyone there was so good to us – I think it would be a great place to have a wedding, and heck stay a couple extra days if you can. Go see the waterfall park nearby, I forget what it’s called, but you can hike the trails and see waterfall after waterfall, and even get up close to some of the smaller ones. The waterfall park is called Bushkill Falls….there’s even a waterfall there called bridal veil falls! I live about 45 minutes from there, never been to a wedding there, but it does seem like a great place to get married. Good luck.

I like Paradise Stream….
My parents got married a bunch of years ago in October at the Chateau, it was great because the back drop is camelback mountain and a pond and it was mid autumn..so the leaves were changing…
