Ski in / Ski out Mountain Chalet in The Hideout, PA. Christmas at our home… what could be more perfect then to walk out your back door to the ski hill or right across the street to the ice skating pond. You can always hear kids having a great time!

Snowboarding down “Smoke” at Sno Mountain formerly Montage Mountain

Quick video of the black diamond slope named “Smoke” at Sno Mountain in Scranton Pa. Lots of fun. Camera really doesn’t convey the speed or the hill steepness very well. The sign on the hill says Smoke is a double black diamond, but the Sno Mt’s trail map list Smoke as a single black diamond. Its definitely not a double black diamond slope. And sorry about the shaky video, I’m shooting with aa hand held camera and the hill is a lot steeper and icier than it looks. Taken 2

Urban Explorers: Roller Skating Rink

In the Pocono back roads, deep in the mountains and woods there is an abandoned roller skating rink that had to close it’s doors due to a roof collapse.
